With the ceremonial inauguration of the Hungarian Design Award and the Design Management Award celebrating the tenth year of its jubilee, the series of events of Design Week Budapest, which has been extended to fifteen days, has opened again this year. Introducing this year's winners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Communication \"Our Mission: In line with the motto \u2018Design\u2019, Dr. Viktor \u0141uszcz, President of the Hungarian Design Council, highlighted the principles of conveying the economic potential of design-based thinking, raising awareness of the social role of creativity, sustainability, responsibility, competitiveness and innovation that feeds from the past and shapes our future in the evaluation criteria of the competitions.<\/p>\n

The twelve-member jury, made up of economic, business, legal professionals and designers, voted for the best of the competition works in the product, design, student and visual communication categories. Among the other entries of the exhibition, the Ministry of Human Capacities, the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office and the Hungarian Design Council also awarded special prizes.<\/p>\n

Consistent with its packaging and logo, this smart cardiac diagnostic tool combines the functions of heart rate, blood oxygen, heart rate, step and calorie measurement into a single business card-sized structure. Sanatmetal's proprietary mobile application ensures that the evaluation performed on the manufacturer's software can be displayed. A medical device that can be charged via a USB port and operated at the touch of a button can help the residential user prevent stroke or cardiac arrest first hand.<\/p>\n

Designers with simplicity and convenience in mind have used soluble joints for safe and durable assembly and disassembly, making the lightweight furniture that can be transported with a small space a perpetual piece for frequent movers.<\/p>\n

The well-known, abstract approach of the twenty-six-time Red Dot winner G\u00e1bor Palotai is reflected in the image of the Swedish brand LIVSDAL. Masterfully representing the essence of the brand, the image was inspired by intangible units such as atomic or air particles and pixels organized as DNA dots in a coherent and modular typographic system.<\/p>\n

The contemporary textile collection, which transforms our traditional values into today's interior and object culture and can be interpreted as a coherent whole, praises the creativity of MOME students as well. The almost limitlessly variable pattern of folk-set woven fabrics shapes the structure of the fabric itself. The Dutch contractor evoked the tactile plasticity of the old yarns with a high-tech solution.<\/p>\n

The innovation of the drinking water purification and dispensing flow system, which operates on the principle of conscious water and energy consumption, is the controllability of automatically connected cooling and the smartphone application. The screw- and joint-free \u2018unibody\u2019 housing, the extruded metal housing, gives the machine a high-end appearance that is easy to clean and control.<\/p>\n

The construction of a mobile, compact and lightweight frame reminiscent of the yurt of Asian nomads requires 15-20 minutes of work. The flexible elements of the tent, designed for industrial production, are integrated into a diagrid structure at the touch of a button due to their innovative connection. The low-current system integrated into the individual chassis and the built-in lamps provide 12 volts of power and artificial lighting in addition to the roof and 11 small vents that absorb both solar and air energy.<\/p>\n
