Twenty-four Hungarian and regional designers will make their debut at the 360 Design Budapest exhibition, which opened on Thursday in Budapest, at 4-6 Aulich Street in the 5th district.<\/strong>

Zs\u00f3fia Bata-Jakab, head of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDD\u00dc), organizer of the 360 Design Budapest program series, emphasized at the opening of the exhibition: The agency is participating in the Budapest Design Week as a professional partner for the third time.
\nHe emphasised that the series of programmes was intended to provide intensive visibility to designers, even in the changed economic situation, and that the promotion of sales was also a priority for the Agency.
\nZs\u00f3fia Bata-Jakab said that they see the future of the industry in programs that ensure continuity for designers, manufacturers and distributors.
\nHe stressed: The world of design has been seriously affected by the virus, and the agency is trying to provide designers with opportunities to survive this difficult period. He added that the now open exhibition is also available online at www.360dbp.com.
\nThe exhibition presents the works of 20 Hungarian designers. In addition, four regional designers will be introduced, their works are available digitally. As he said, the main goal of the MDD\u00dc is for the Hungarian capital to play a central role in the region in the field of design.
\nHe also talked about the fact that in the framework of the three-day program series, in addition to the exhibition, those interested can get an insight into the current issues of the Hungarian design industry through educational roundtable discussions.
\nGyula Pom\u00e1zi, President of the Hungarian Design Council and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, said that the creative and design industry has grown about two and a half times faster than the economy as a whole. Hungarian design has become one of the most important export products of the domestic economy, he stressed.
\nGyula Pom\u00e1zi also spoke about the Budapest Design Week, which will be held for the 17th time. He highlighted that the number of visitors to the event has increased significantly in recent years, they can now reach 70,000 audiences, and the number of cooperating partners has increased to 80-90, and the number of events has increased to 150-180, despite the fact that this year two-thirds of the programs are held online.
