Two early-career artists: The Hungarian B\u00e1lint Szalai and the Czech Monika Ben\u00edskov\u00e1 won the Unlimited Design Award for the best artists of this year's Unlimited Design exhibition on Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

B\u00e1lint Szalai, who graduated from MOME Design Institute, and Monika Ben\u00edskov\u00e1, who graduated from LSFDA University in Pilsen, will receive a gross prize of HUF 300,000 per person, while designers Katia Bagosi and Andrei Revnic will receive free participation at one of Europe\u2019s most important design events, the Lodz Design Festival, the organisers told MTI on Friday.
\nFrom Saturday, the Unlimited Design exhibition will present the works of 152 designers, jewellery designers and artists from 14 countries in the Kiscell Museum.
\nThe organizers of the annual international exhibition founded a design award in 2016 with the aim of acknowledging the professional achievements of the exhibitors of the selection, primarily supporting young, mainly early-career artists. The aim of the award is to draw attention to the potential of design, the importance of patronage and social engagement.
\nThe jury, made up of renowned experts, assesses the originality, innovative solutions and high design content of the objects, the communication recalls.
\nIn the selection of the works this year Zs\u00f3fia Csomay architect, interior designer, honorary university professor; N\u00f3ra Demeter (Demeter Design Studio) architect, interior designer; B\u00e9la Horv\u00e1th, founder of the B\u00e9la Horv\u00e1th Art Foundation, art collector; Zsolt Petr\u00e1nyi art historian, Katalin Spengler and Zsolt Soml\u00f3i art collectors took part.
\nThe Borderless Design Exhibition, organized as part of the CAFe Budapest Contemporary Art Festival and the Budapest Design Week programme series, can be visited until 15 November.<\/p>\n
