As a result of international professional cooperation, the 75th UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities has been established. Contemporary art and collection exhibitions, professional conferences and workshops present the past, present and future of Hungarian glass art throughout the year. \nThe exhibition of six internationally renowned glass artists (P\u00e9ter Borkovics, Bernadett Hegyv\u00e1ri, L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Kyra, Mih\u00e1ly Melcher, Bal\u00e1zs Sipos and \u00c1gnes Smetana) with pictures and sculptures of autonomous value can be visited until 29 May in Szentendre in the Ferenczy Museum.
\nAccording to the information, in Pannonhalma, those interested can see the permanent exhibition entitled F\u00e9ny.t\u00e9r, presenting more than 50 contemporary representatives of Hungarian and international glass art, in the Hefter Gallery and Studio.
\nIn the coming months, an exhibition reviewing the important stages of glass art from the 18th century to the end of the last century will be held at the De la Motte-Beer Palace, organized by Kisk\u00e9p Gallery and \u00c1gnes Ko\u00f3s, curator; and the exhibition presenting the history of the Society of Hungarian Glass Artists in the R\u00f3mer House in Gy\u0151r. In the autumn Art Market Budapest, professional actors discuss the role of glass among art genres for the first time with the involvement of international gallerists and artists. The Bohus-Lugossy Foundation, as a partner of 360 Design Budapest, will conclude the 2022 International Year of Glass with an international glass design exhibition, the statement recalls.
\nThe organizing partner of the thematic year in Hungary is the Bohus-Lugossy Foundation for Contemporary Glass Art, among others the Ministry of Human Capacities, the Prime Minister's Office and the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
