Digital culture is at the heart of the Eleven Autumn Festival

Concerts, family, gastronomic and artistic programs will be held between 27 and 28 September on Bartók Béla út at the Eleven Autumn Festival, which this year focuses on digital culture.

This year, new venues joined the program series organized by the Cultural Eleven Association: OnBoard Café and the Pool Group first made their debut in Eleven Spring. The former programme includes a round table discussion, digital card painting and the presentation of a board game with a new application, and with the help of the Pool Group, visitors can take colourful bags and accessories with them, the organisers said in a statement sent to MTI.
According to Anna Ott, the hostess of the event, the artistic director of Hadik Café, their goal is to take a closer look at the proportions of online-offline presence at the festival, as well as their positive and negative aspects. They investigate how the boundaries of fine arts, poetry and music have changed as a result of digitalisation, how they have reacted to the changes of the 21st century, and what challenges contemporary creators face. “We would like to have a useful side of digital culture, with advantages and disadvantages instead of limitations,” he added.
On the programs of Eleven Autumn, visitors can become creators themselves. At the workshop of KACs Workshop, anyone can create a unique QR coded accessory, and keys, buttons, colored cables, parts can be reborn as a unique clothing accessory with the help of recycling.
In LogiScool's robotics workshop, mBot can be used to learn the basic rules of robotics and give visitors a taste of programming. Press photographer Milán Radisics's work will be on display at the photo exhibition SUR/REAL LANDS in the Zsófi Faur Gallery.
Zsili Babos during her performance My Life in the Window moves to the window of Art Space on Bartók Béla Street for 48 hours. It puts itself in the window just like people in the online world, says the programme.

This year, the Gellért Hill Rock Chapel joined the program, from where a cultural-historical walk starts: they recall Frigyes Karinthy and his circle, the figures of Zsigmond Móricz, Dezső Kosztolányi, Géza Ötlik writer, Ágnes Nemes Nagy poet, Jenő Huszka and the composer Béla Bartók who named the route, as well as Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka painter and Gross Arnold graphic artist, master of etching.
Children and family programs are also available. This year, the Memorial Bear Workshop can be found on Bartók Béla út, an interactive storytelling event will be held in Pagony, besides the Wine and Crafts counter, visitors will be invited to create a word cloud.
