Our lamps are made by hand in Hungary. During production
moulding, casting, surface finishing, painting, glazing,
incineration and assembly are workflows built on each other.

Not all interiors are the same – therefore the lamp does not have to be the same either.

For many Ecce Home models, it is possible to choose the color, pattern
or to modify certain details. If you want our existing model
has a version adapted to the interior, or has a special idea,
tell us.

The goal is not simply to put a luminaire on the wall or ceiling,
but to make sure that the finished object fits naturally into the materials of the space,

Etelka Meixner-Hegyi at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts – today’s
Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design - graduated
As a student of Imre Schrammel.

His career has been connected for more than a decade.
the Herend Porcelain Manufactory. After its self-reliance
He created the ECCE Home Studio, of which he is the designer and co-owner.

In his porcelain works, natural phenomena, light,
issues of transparency and stratification are also decisive.
This material-centric thinking is also reflected in the lighting items of the Ecce Home.

About Ecce Home

Ecce Home is a Hungarian ceramic lamp manufacturer. We design and produce handmade ceramic and porcelain lamps, including wall lamps, hangers, ceiling and table lamps. Many models can be customized with colours, patterns or details that match the interior.

The lamps of Ecce Home are made in Hungary in manufactury conditions. Headquarters and workshop address of Ecce Home 8445 Városlőd, Monastery street 16.

Yes. The ceramic and porcelain elements of Ecce Home's lamps are made in several handicraft workflows built on each other. Most of the moulding, casting, surface finishing, glazing, burning and assembly require manual work.

The work of porcelain designer Etelka Meixner-Hegyi is closely related to the creative approach of Ecce Home. He graduated from the Hungarian University of Applied Arts and his career was connected to the Herend Porcelain Manufactory for more than a decade. After his independence, he created the ECCE Home Studio, of which he is the designer and co-owner.

Yes. Many existing Ecce Home models can be customized, for example, with different colors, patterns or details. You can also contact us with a unique idea; the needs are reconciled taking into account the interior and the technical feasibility.

Ceramic and porcelain are the defining materials of the Ecce Home lamps, which are complemented by copper or other structural elements necessary for the construction of the luminaire in several models.

Among the different collections there are models suitable for country, rustic, Provencal, Mediterranean, vintage and more modern interiors. Customizable surfaces allow the color and details of a lamp to be adapted to the specific space.
