Dubai World Exhibition - The uniforms of the Hungarian pavilion staff were presented

The uniforms of the employees working in the Hungarian pavilion of the Dubai World Expo were presented in Budapest on Thursday.
Andrea Tóth, managing director of Expo 2020 Hungary Nkft., which organizes the Hungarian participation, said at the press conference that a team of about 60 people will travel to Dubai at the end of September, and a competition was announced in cooperation with the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDDÜ) for the design of the uniforms of the employees representing Hungary.
He added: during the tender, it was an important aspect that the uniforms should not only be beautiful and special, but they should also be suitable for everyday use.
The managing director also said that the image of the Hungarian pavilion built in the spirit of Makovecz was created by a young creative team graduated from MOME under the leadership of Gergő Hosszú. He recalled that the focus of the Hungarian appearance is the presentation of Hungary's unique medicinal and thermal water treasure.
Zsófia Bata-Jakab, CEO of MDDÜ emphasized: As part of the Hungarian appearance at the Dubai World's Fair, the presentation of the works of Hungarian fashion designers and designers will play a prominent role.
He said that the MDDÜ supported the selection process of the design application professionally. In addition, as part of the Hungarian appearance, a thematic week will be organized at the World's Fair, where the works of Hungarian fashion designers and designers will also be widely presented.
Speaking at the press conference: When launching the competition, it was an important condition that the design of the uniforms should match the image of the Hungarian pavilion, be durable, but also comfortable and meet the weather conditions. In addition, it was of paramount importance to conform to Dubai's dress code.
Out of the six applications submitted, two design jobs were selected: The Four team dreamed up the clothes of the employees and managers of the Hungarian pavilion. The designers used petro-blue, rosé-gold, white and dark blue colors from the image colors. The design motif was placed asymmetrically on the clothes. The choice of material for wear is well adapted to climatic conditions. Boglárka Bódis, designer of Elysian, dreamed up the clothes of the catering and operating section of the event.
