A simple switch is replaced by the Glithero-designed domino line, which requires a chain reaction.
Domino Light is a dozen conductive copper dominoes. The arrangement of the domino is possible in any configuration, as long as the first and last dominoes meet the copper stripes embedded on both sides of the luminaire.
After the rocker falls, a domino effect occurs. The electrical circuit ends when the dominoes are tilted and the last one is locked.
The purpose of the design is to demonstrate the hidden technical process behind the product, which is a standard electrical circuit consisting of a power source, two conductor points and a lamp.
“With so many techniques in our lives, it is easy to imagine that even simple physical things, such as turning on light, allow materials to have physical properties,” said Glithero Tim Simpson, founder.
