WAMP returns to Millenáris Park

WAMP returns to Millenáris Park, which will start its autumn-winter season on October 21 as the program of Design Week Budapest, which is 15 years old this year. For the first time, they focus primarily on collaborations between designers, joint collections, design duos and creative groups with the involvement of organizers, educational and professional organisations.

At the WAMP in October, in the framework of Design Week Budapest, the public will be able to get acquainted with a number of collections and joint projects that have been created by two or more artists, the organisers said in a statement sent to MTI.
In the joint clothing collection of Camou and Katagami Kokeshi, the kokeshi dolls of applied artist Réka Tóth-Vásárhelyi reappeared as a colorful, playful pattern of Beatrix Fehér's fashion designer outfits, but the joint jewellery collection of Gabó Lucky and Zsanett Jakócs, designer of Inventino also debuts here, which is characterized by both organic shapes and feminine elegance.
In the spirit of recycling, the limited-edition Rinato’18 collection was created, combining Rulied by casa d’oro jewellery with Polka Dog bags. The accessories are made of the material left over from the manufacture of the bags, so they harmonize with each other both in color and material.
White Lemon – Smartwear for Women’s clean-lined garments form the basis of Kontúr Fashion’s ornate, handmade, finely crafted leather jewellery and handbags. Their compositions are consistent both in terms of material and colour.
The first autumn fair will also feature an exhibition of graphic arts students from the Krea School of Contemporary Art, featuring a selection of WAMP posters from the past, as well as a special installation for fashion design students from Mod’Art International Hungary. The school is the Hungarian branch of the French Mod’Art school network, which teaches the curriculum of Paris’ cutting-edge fashion school, from the fashion industry foundations to the luxury industry.
