The Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana have concluded a strategic agreement – the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency told MTI on Sunday. Within the framework of the cooperation, the leading international fashion chamber will support the development of Hungarian fashion as a strategic partner for three years.
As the first step of the strategic cooperation, a mentoring program will be launched, in the framework of which the designers selected on the basis of professional criteria will start work with a visiting mentor from the Italian Chamber to Budapest, assess the strengths of the brands and the areas to be developed. Brands selected for the mentoring programme: Abodi, Je Suis Belle, Celeni, Artista, Zsigmond Dora, Cukovy, Tomcsanyi and Elysian.
The joint work starts immediately after the Budapest Central European Fashion Week, with the involvement of fashion industry experts. The programme will continue in Milan in December, where selected designers will be able to participate in business/B2B negotiations and workshops, says Stefania Vismara, Managing Director of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
The aim of the cooperation is to enable these brands to enter the international market thanks to professional support, the Communication states.
