This year's Art Market Budapest and 360 Design Budapest promise a richer program than last year

The 360 Design Budapest event series organised by Art Market Budapest and the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDDÜ) awaits visitors with even more special programmes in the autumn – the organisers of Art Market Budapest informed MTI on Wednesday.

The second partnership between Art Market Budapest and the MMDÜ aims to effectively draw the attention of an audience open to contemporary art to the links between the two fields and to facilitate the exploitation of the opportunities arising from synergies, they said.
Art Market Budapest will host the audience interested in contemporary art in Budapest for the 12th time between 6 and 9 October. On the basis of the applications, the most important international contemporary art fair in Central and Eastern Europe will present a selection of around 120 exhibitors from nearly 30 countries in the Bálna Budapest building.
The MDDÜ organizes the 360 Design Budapest event series for the third time between 3 and 9 October in Bálna Budapest. The selection of the actors of the Hungarian and regional design scene presents the objects to the audience in a creative and innovative way.
The aim of the event is to raise the profile of Hungarian and regional designers and to help Hungarian design brands enter the international market. The exhibition is accompanied by a rich series of events: There will be lectures, roundtable discussions, exclusive guided tours.
One of the most important elements of the partnership is the professional meeting, which, under the name Inside Art & Design, specifically explores the connections between the world of art and designed objects with the participation of renowned international performers, lectures by world-renowned experts, roundtable discussions and guided tours.
The briefing quotes Anita Forintos-Szűcs, Deputy CEO of MDDÜ, who stressed: “following last year’s successful collaboration, this year we want to strengthen our professional relationship with Art Market, so together we dreamed up the Inside Art & Design event, a dedicated day to connect art and design”.
