The winners of the Classic TopDesign 2023 competition have been announced

The winners were announced at the Klasszis TopDesign 2023 competition announced by the Klasszis Group, Hungary’s only international design competition for the hospitality and hotel industry – the Tourism Online professional portal told MTI on Friday.

The design competition was launched in a unique way in the field of the domestic Horeca-profession, targeting domestic hotels and smaller and larger catering establishments. The competition takes a comprehensive approach to design and special solutions and evaluates all aspects within the hospitality and hotel industry. Both interior design and interior design solutions, as well as various complementary products and design solutions important in the given field, as well as plans not yet implemented, could enter the competition in the appropriate categories, which will only be implemented in the near future.
8 awards were awarded in the gastro main category, 14 winners were announced in the Hotel-Spa-Wellness main category, 2 special awards and audience awards were also awarded in each main category, thus a total of 26 winners were awarded.
The category of this year's competition was the guest experience. Approximately 40 applications were submitted for the competition, and in many cases one applicant selected several categories and submitted their competition work on several topics.
In 2023, Flava Kitchen & More in Budapest became the Best Guest Experience Gastronomy of the Year and Best Top Design Restaurant of the Year. The Klasszis TopDesign Bar/Pub of the Year 2023 is Nomade by Gigi’s in Budapest. Dolcissima Budapest is the Klasszis TopDesign Café/Pub of the Year. The animal-friendly restaurant of the year Klasszis TopDesign is the Sulyom Landscape Restaurant in Sarud. The gastro designer of the year Klasszis TopDesign was Plusdesign Studio Budapest.

The 3-4 star hotel of the year in the Klasszis TopDesign countryside is the Sziget Hotel Nyíregyháza, the Klasszis TopDesign spa & wellness department of the year is the Andrássy Mansion & Spa, Tarcal.
Klasszis TopDesign sustainable accommodation of the year is the Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart. The Klasszis TopDesign hotel image of the year was awarded to Verno House Budapest.
MádiLáncos Studio Budapest became the Klasszis TopDesign hotel designer, interior designer and designer of the year. The Klasszis TopDesign child-friendly accommodation of the year is Mövenpick BalaLand Resort Lake Balaton. The Klasszis TopDesign pet-friendly accommodation of the year is the Minaro Hotel Tokaj Mgallery.
