Hungarian-designed ultrasonic tick alarm was also awarded at one of the world's most prestigious design competitions

In addition to the ultrasonic tick alarm of Tickless Run, the development of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) campus and the norm system of Magyar Telekom's Headquarters in Könyves Kálmán körút were also awarded at the 2020-2021 A Design Award & Competition, an agency entrusted with the communication of one of the award-winning companies told MTI on Thursday.

According to the information, the ultrasonic tick repellent for runners, named Tickless Run by the ProtectOne startup founded in 2010, won the A’ Design Award for its clean design and innovative solutions in the category of Security Clothing and Personal Protective Equipment, in which a Hungarian company was recognised for the first time. Tickless Run responds to both environmental and health challenges.
According to the information, at the international design competition, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDDÜ) won third place in two categories with the 360 Design Budapest exhibition. One category recognizes interior design and exhibition space design, while the other deals with events (Event and Happening Design).
The A’ Design Award & Competition is the world’s largest jury design competition, organised annually at international level. In the 2020-2021 competition, there were 2094 winners from 104 design branches in 108 countries around the world. The entries were judged by a professional jury of 211 people.
