“How will I get a job as a designer? Will I do it at all?’ – these questions have certainly been raised by many; This story is recommended to them by its protagonist, who started working with AdamiStefano as a first-year design student due to a chance acquaintance. Ádám Szabó initially designed only flyers for the company, but this year he was already responsible for the design and implementation of their stand at an international expo in Dortmund.
Although the task of stall design was an unfamiliar terrain for him, even at the level of ideas Designed space for dynamic communication He outlined his idea, in which both the raw materials and the shapes match the company's image and product range. The planning took two months, but the on-site implementation only took one day, thanks to the preliminary rehearsal. An important aspect of the latter was that only high-quality, durable materials should be used.
The idea of splitting into the meeting and presentation parts came from the company, so this and the 15 sqm floor area were given. So it had to be personalized in such a way that AdamiStefano could proudly consider it its own.
“I decided to break with the plasterboard structures built on the metal frame, the rollups and all these dozen solutions.”
The showroom The main element of his concept was floating., with which the products can be presented one step more astonishingly than the simple exhibition on the table. This idea is also supported by the ceiling of pipes, which, thanks to the illumination, optically extends the space, which attracts the eyes from afar, as well as products hung from the ceiling.
Space clearly communicates honesty and reliability, with its pierced, clear character. All this is done deliberately, the upper illumination and the lights were meant to create the same mood. At the same time, all seating and tables in the space are covered with a special turquoise-coloured material of the company, which It breaks the dominance of white, making the space experience less sterile..
The fact that there was free passage between the two parts of the space within the booth served to provide customers with the experience of: It's like they're going through a back door to the meeting room., Inside the inside room. On the same partial divider, on the side of the showroom, there was a TV – evoking the nature of the waiting rooms and receptions – where interested parties could watch a video showing the company’s products.
The expo was a milestone not only for AdamiStefano by being able to settle out with their own booth for the first time, but also for Adam, whose work was the first large-scale project that did not take place in a school setting; This joint excitement made the design-customer relationship extremely dynamic and smooth..
